Riverview House has been offering a service for adults with a learning disability since 1985, and was purchased by Hereward Care Services in 1998. Situated in the village of Stanground, it is proud of the community-based facilities it offers its service users.

Riverview House is currently registered as a home for adults (18-65) with a mild to moderate learning disability. We have also extended the registration for a named service user over 65, in order that he can stay on for as long as he wants and for as long as we can provide a full service.

The main house, built in 1897, is home to 9 service users, with seven single and one shared room. Plans are currently in place to have 9 single rooms in the near future. The home also offers excellent communal facilities.

Approximately 100 yards from the main house can be found "the cottage", originally two terraced houses, but now one semi-independent home for five people. Staff input is designed to maximise the independence and full potential of service users. The home and setup is designed to accommodate service users who are preparing to move into independent living, perhaps through a supported living scheme.
